At Home with Mirrors

Mirrors and their true reflections hang on every wall of this inner home. We cannot find a nook or a crannie that doesn't have a mirror forcing us to see ourselves in every light and every shadow. No hiding places, just vivid and unobscured reflections.

This is the home in our soul that we most want to avoid, yet once we are at home there, something awakens in us that is of extraordinary beauty, truth and power. 

In this home, to be at home, we ask our spiritual companion to stand behind us and place a hand on our heart. 

Can you feel this hand sending warmth to your heart from behind?

With this feeling, this hand on your heart, you can face what you don't want to see in yourself: the good, the evil, the undeveloped, the pretenses, the exquisitely courageous, what is dead, and what is resurrected.

With this feeling, this being at your back, in the vast cosmic darkness of the Holy Nights such a light can shine. Only you can see yourself in these mirrors of truth! Take heart!
