The Second Holy Night - The Gift of Voice
Published: Mon, 12/26/11

The theme for the Eighth Year of Inner Christmas Messages is
The Twelve Gifts.
Human life runs its course in the metamorphosisbetween receiving and giving.Goethe
In the silence of this sacred time, celebrate receiving the gift of voice.
How does someone give voice to you?
She asks you a question that can only be answered from deep within you.
He hears your whispers and screams and know under your whisper is a scream too powerful to release, and above your scream is a whisper too tender to touch the ground.
She helps you find the right word and the right gesture.
He listens and listens and listens longer.
They resonate with you. They respond with smiles that glow with appreciation, with tears that flow free of drama.
Imagine during the Holy Nights, that the world, the future, little children, the dead, and great spiritual forces want to give you your voice. What do you feel?
Look in your mirror and speak with that voice. You can do it.
Now give the gift of voice. Ask the question. Hear whispers in screams and screams in whispers. Guide someone to the word that speaks their meaning. Listen. Appreciate. Soothe drama.
Imagine everything you say and hear is "Jubilate Deo."
I invite you share your experience of receiving and giving voice with the Inner Christmas Community. To leave a comment, click here.
The Inner Christmas messages are not the inner work of the Holy Nights. They are invitations or gateways into the Holy Nights.
Each message has a topic based on the theme of the
year. I offer a creative exploration of the topic, and a number of
questions to consider around the topic as a way to find your individual
relationship to the topic and a new, clarifying, liberating perspective
on yourself.
The messages are not definitive, they are encouraging.
Reading the messages is not the experience of the Holy Nights. The Holy Nights are a cosmic experience that can only be felt within your own soul. Be confident and know they are YOUR Holy Nights.
