Hi Everyone,
I am deep in the process of creating my new website, ImagineSelf.com. I hope you like the new banner and logo above.

One of my challenges is to describe the character and needs of my visitors, my readers and my participants.  I've made a list but I need your help.

I've put the list below for you to consider.  Here are my questions:

Do these statements resonate with you?

Are there other statements that you would use to describe the motivations behind your attention to my work and other paths of inner development?

I found much to reflect on about myself as I wrote these statements. I hope you find them stimulating new imaginations about yourself.

Would you please write to me and share your responses.  I would be so very, very grateful.

Here's my email link: lynnjericho@gmail.com

Warmly,
Lynn

Is This You???

  1. You strive for a selfhood with wonder, clarity, warmth and effectiveness.
  2. You are willing to see into your own shadows with courage and the shadows of others with compassion.
  3. You welcome questions that surprise you, wake you up and fill you with new imaginations.
  4. You want to think about yourself in new creative ways, feel more deeply about the mundane and the mysterious and explore fiercely the myriad reasons for your amazing existence.
  5. You would rather be wise than happy - although you find real joy in crossing thresholds of inner experience.
  6. You seek the freedom to evolve beyond your personal identities and the demands of your culture and times.
  7. You seek a picture of the human being and your own individuality that covers all the bases between the dense reality of your physical existence and the exquisite and rarified divinity of your spirit.
  8. You want a dynamic, spiritually sound and materially practical, picture of the human being that makes sense of being human and having a unique and complex individuality. You want a framework to guide you through the interweaving forces of biology and biography, the relativity and complexity of your conscious thoughts, feelings and intentions and, ultimately, the significance, meaning and purpose of your existence.
  9. Ennobled and humbled by this picture of being human you find a surprising beauty in your wounds, dreams, failures and successes.
  10. You incarnate deeply into your life while paradoxically lifting into spiritual heights beyond your religious training and spiritual practices.
  11. You want to make sense of and learn the lessons of your suffering.
  12. You have a great sense of humor and love to laugh at yourself.
