You are the singer. What is your song?

You are the singer. What is your song?

And somewhere a bird
who is bound to be heard
is throwing it's heart to the sky!

Hi Singer,

This is my favorite line in the great showtune by Rodgers and Hammerstein "It's a Grand Night for Singing."

When I think back to my childhood I can recall with self-tenderness the feeling in my heart that I had a song to sing, my song, a song that if I didn't sing it would never be sung leaving a small empty silence in the cosmos. It took years and often tears, to know my song and sing it.

First, I had to find my voice and develop it, compose my music and write my lyrics, and then I had to find my confidence and my time and finally throw it from my heart to the cosmic sky filled with listening stars.

The song in my heart that was bound to be heard took a long time to sing, but it's in the cosmic sky and on the internet and resonating in the hearts of many around the globe.  And now there is not only a song in my heart but a big joyful smile.

My song is my contribution. Your song is your contribution. Are you singing it? Do you hum the tune? Do you know the words?  Do you realize the cosmos is lovingly waiting? Is your heart smiling with anticipation when you wake up in the morning and with reflection when you go to sleep at night?

The many hearts I sing to from my heart are all around the globe, but for many of us the hearts are very near and few in number.  Heart songs, big and small, are all equal in truth, beauty and goodness. And they all need to be sung for the same personal and cosmic reasons: "This is why I am here now."

Let me help you sing your song.

This Saturday, February 12, (or next Tuesday, February 15) my online course, Imagining Your Contribution, begins. It is a course filled with warm encouragement and wise guidance on opening your heart and singing your song.

Here is a link to a big long webpage with a less metaphorical description of Imagining Your Contribution including goals and benefits and all the logistics.

Do read it as there is some good necessary information.  BUT don't read it to decide if you want to register. (You will find an 60 minute audio on this page where I introduce the Imagining Your Contribution and offer a very helpful exercise.)

Your heart decided if you want to register a few paragraphs ago - maybe even when you read the subject line for the email "You are the singer. What is your song?"

To follow your heart and dedicate your creative attention to your song, just go to my store to register for Imagining Your Contribution, click here.

Of course, there is an investment of time (about 3 hours a week for five weeks) and money ($150 or $250 for two participants who sign up together) and you need to be able to afford both the time and the money to be able to take the course.

I can't do anything about the investment of time and attention, but if your heart is saying "I must do this program with Lynn." send me an email about a discount or a payment plan and if you are joining with a friend please email as I haven't be able to figure out how to do this kind of discount through the store.

I do want to hear you singing your song, the one filled with your meaning, your purpose and your significance.  Join me in Imagining Your Contribution.

PS. Sign up now as there are limited spots.  Because of the intense level of this work, I keep the number of participants to 12 in each session.

With a song in my heart,
Lynn
