It seems we are getting hot. The planet is warming. And the media wants us to be scared.
Our political
environment suffers with heated extremes and seems to be boiling over.
The media and the politicians provoke terror and promise safety if we just follow them. It’s tempting.
I can’t say what to do with these exoteric challenges. It’s your esoteric heat and extremes that concern me. How do we cool and center our souls?
Equanimity of Soul
Equanimity balances all extremes of soul, even the little ones.
How do we develop the ability to activate and sustain
equanimity? I want to share a simple, elegant way to nurture equanimity in our souls no matter what heated extremes we find ourselves struggling with.
First, we need to be aware of our biochemical sensitivities
and our biographical triggers. This allows us to return our souls to the present time and to free our consciousness from our biological challenges. Too often we lose our cool and become unbalanced because our chemistry and our memories overwhelm our souls.
Then we repeat this mantra over and over:
I am safe.
I am calm.
I am awake.
I am
nourished.
This mantra works on our biology.
I am safe strengthens the immune system.
I am calm strengthens the endocrine system.
I am awake strengthens the nervous
system.
I am nourished strengthens the digestive system.
This mantra works on our biography if we reflect on our memories of not being safe, calm, awake, or nourished and if those parenting us felt safe, calm, awake, or nourished. Do biographical reflection and writing down our experiences can be very healing, coolng and centering.
“I am” declarations are in the present tense and free us from the dramas of our biographies. I have a long history of memories when I was not safe, calm, awake, or nourished. Using the mantra, tells me I am NOW, not THEN. THEN can also be about our projections about our future.
The mantra also calls in archangelic forces.
Michaelic forces keep us safe.
Raphaelic forces keep us calm.
Gabrielic forces keep us awake.
Urielic forces keep us nourished.
Repeating the mantra transforms our soul energies. Our soul energies reach out beyond our own bodies and can
cool down and center our shared ecological and political environments.
Keep this in mind/soul in heated and extreme times, both personal and global.
I also wrote about this in the early days of the pandemic.
