IS THIS WHY YOU ARE ON MY LIST?
A good number of the individuals on my list have been with me for years. Why? Here’s my understanding: They have a deep longing to “see” themselves, to have some guidance into self-awareness. Ultimately, they want the path to the inner experience of Holy Calm, even just a glimmer.
For 18 years I have been writing blogs that continually offer prompts, questions and perspectives that inspire new ways to know yourself, understand yourself and become your highest self. I guide my readers on this challenging and thrilling path of building an evolving imagination of self, of getting clear and confident about the complexity we each call “I.”
I’ve learned the more we imagine self, courageously seeing ourselves from many perspectives, the more we can courageously see others, see the world and welcome the challenges that demand more of us than we ever thought possible.
Life in general and in our own lives in particular have gotten more and more complex and challenging in the last months. More than ever we each need to find a way to manage the complexities and the challenges with a calming and centering soul. “Calm” and “center” are both nouns and verbs. Both as nouns and verbs we need to take hold and develop them. This is the practice of Equanimity and it leads us to a Holy Calm.
250 people from around the world have registered for the free intro to Holy Calm in Chaotic Times. I have no idea how many have actually watched all four videos. In these videos I shared the Eight Steps to Equanimity which take us to the gate of Holy Calm. The steps are steep, but worth the climb. Holy Calm waits.
STILL TIME…
There is still time to sign up for the free INTRODUCTION TO HOLY CALM IN CHAOTIC TIMES. It will close in a few days. The videos of my conversations with Jane Reed are insightful, warm and inspiring. They are relaxed and not formal…you even see my granddaughter interrupting us in the second video. There are written insights to download.
We just posted the final video on developing the wisdom of equanimity. Don’t miss it. If you haven’t signed up, do it now.
