Last night, I heard a brilliant lecture by Elizabeth Schecter PhD, a philosopher of psychology, who teaches at Washington University in St. Louis.  She spoke about the mystery of the unifying self and how we have inner struggles between inner selves who cannot connect with or even acknowledge the other selves.  Core Imaginations distinguishes the many selves and firmly establishes the over-arching unifying self - I call it the Observer Self or the Self-Imaginer. Lizzie and I will be meeting for what promises to be a very illuminating conversation...I'll let you know what happens.  

Then this morning I spoke with one of you who wanted help in deciding if CI was right for her.  She recently lost her adult son.  She told me how those close to her want her to get back to "normal".  There is no normal self!  She will slowly be integrating her "grieving mother self" into the relationship with her other selves. And this must be done with great self-tenderness.  All her selves will need to evolve and reorganize.  Core Imaginations helps and guides this process.

Holy Imaginations & The New Festivals

I have found that the Christian Festivals (including the Marion festivals) offer extraordinary insights for individual inner work. I offer blogposts and courses inspired by the festivals. Imagining An Inner Mother
