September 7, 2022 Hi Dear Friend, Did you read my email on loneliness. More people opened that email than any other email I have sent out over the last twenty years! Loneliness really is universal and the social restrictions of the pandemic have made the loneliness more acute, painfully acute. Loneliness asks us to do two things: find right relationship to (1) self in solitude and (2) self in community — the lonely polarities in the social soul. In this email, I am sharing brief descriptions of two Imagine Self Academy programs that address these two polarities in new ways: - Beyond 63 - Imagining Right Aging and Blessed Dying is a program for older individuals focusing on the the four tasks at the end of a long life, a time when many of us find a new experience of the loneliness of the self in solitude.
- A Gathering of Selves is an amazing ongoing membership community that focuses on the spiritual journey to Selfhood. GoS offers a new experience of the self in community.

BEYOND 63 IMAGINING YOUR RIGHT AGING AND YOUR BLESSED DYING. The mystery of life changes after 63. There are new questions to be asked and new deeds to be fulfilled to find joy and meaning as we live into our aging and dying. What are they? When we reach the age of 63, we are entering our fourth 21
year cycle of life. This cycle offers so many gifts and opportunities. The spiritual possibilities are profound and so are the challenges. For two years I have been meditating, contemplating, considering, questioning, and imagining right aging and blessed dying. Is
there an inner process to bring thanatosophia into our souls. I searched for thanatosophia on google…nothing! But so many sites addressing thanatophobia come up. Do you want to age and die with fear or wisdom? Of course, there is the possibility that you
just want to ignore your aging, pretend you won’t die, or hope that it will take you by surprise suddenly and painlessly. But before death, we have the opportunity to review life so far, not just the memories and the stories, but to
build the imagination of the meaning of all our years, to see how we have evolved morally and spiritually. And how do we form our intentions to continue our inner development in the years we have left? What are the areas of living where we still have purpose and
destiny to fulfill? What about the afterlife, the return to the spiritual realms. How do you imagine heaven? Is there suffering or bliss or nothingness? There is another BIG question, but I will share that in the next email. Over the next few days I will be sending you emails sharing more thoughts on aging and dying. And I will describe the course of seven modules I have designed. Whether you
are 63, 83, or 103 you will find value, treasures, and wisdom living in actively penetrating the mysteries of life beyond 63. Registration for Beyond 63 will open on Sunday, September 11. The course
begins on Thursday, September 22, appropriately the Autumnal Equinox. In case you are wondering, it is fine to sign up for both programs, but I would suggest you put all your attention to the work of Beyond 63…if you are
beyond 63!
A GATHERING OF SELVES Evolving Selfhood through Community Are you looking for a community that exists to

This whole does not confine our many selves. Rather, the whole observes, redeems, and embraces the creative, often chaotic complexity of our lives. We witness this process in each other and celebrate

Steiner’s imagination of community: A healthy social life is found only when, in the mirror of each soul, the whole community finds its reflection, and when, in the whole community, the virtue of each one is living. Meeting twice monthly over Zoom, GoS explores, tackles, dissects, researches, and imagines one aspect of being human each month. I offer a foundational perspective (usually a video or an essay) as a
springboard for our first monthly conversation. The second monthly conversation is open to any questions, insights, or experiences that show up in the souls of the members. There are four seasonal workshops for deep dives into larger gestures of being human. Lynn is a kind, inspired, creative guide who is constantly learning and questioning along with those she guides. She shares her wisdom without requiring one to obey or believe what
she says. Instead, shares her soul experiences and listens to those of others so all benefit. Her grasp of anthroposophy is practical, comprehensive, and applicable to life in the 21st century.
